I'm Mathew. I'm a Red Seal plumber, I've spent 15 years on the tools, and I own Pinegrove Plumbing.
A lot of people figure a tradesperson should be broke. They don't see the early starts or the crawlspaces. They don't see what you know, or what your tools cost.
I do. So here's a job that pays you for the work you get done.
The pay
Hours on the clock that aren't billed still pay $20 an hour.
How the pay works
- Billed hours come from our flat-rate price book. Do the job well and quickly, and you bill more hours in a day at the same $65.
- Bill 25 hours in a 40-hour week and that works out to just over $100,000 a year, including vacation and stat pay.
- There's no ceiling. The more you bill, the more you make.

Someone who wants to win.
Your pay follows the hours you bill. If you'd rather have the same hourly wage no matter how the day goes, this isn't the job for you. If you back yourself, it is.
What you'll do
What we're looking for
- Red Seal plumber
- Class B gas is a strong asset
- Valid driver's licence
- You show up on time, explain things clearly to homeowners, and leave the house cleaner than you found it
What you get
- Travel time paid
- After-hours calls are optional, and each one pays 3 billed hours
- 4% vacation pay, paid on every cheque
- Stat holiday pay
- A real path up: senior or lead tech, then service manager as we grow
